Feedback from parents...
"It's everything I wish someone said to me all those years ago when I had to send my emotionally not ready (now diagnosed Autistic), only just 4 year old off to a world he was not ready for!"
♡
"I enjoyed the countdown as it gave more of a focus on what we could be doing now and then how to build on this. It made me feel more relaxed"
♡
"It felt like a big hug and supportive chat from a friend who had done it"
♡
"I really like the tasks and question/conversation prompts. I think they're a really useful takeaway that families can implement easily into their day to day lives. I'll definitely be adding a few more with my daughter!"
♡
"It is clearly written by someone who gets it and has lived with sensitive kids whereas most advice is 'kids are resilient, they'll be fine'. If you know yours won't it can feel like such a lonely place."

You may have seen our Love Note Patches and heard my story...
First and foremost I wanted to do anything I could to help my child with separations and heart-wrenching goodbyes. If you have been through it you know the feeling… and I hated the thought of others struggling too. So at the same time I wanted to help other families who were also in the thick of it.
Our Patches really do work and have transformed time apart and new starts for so many families, but, it’s important to note that they also need to also be part of a wider strategy if you have a beautifully sensitive child with big emotions or separation anxiety. There are so many other things we can also do to support our big-hearted children to give the best possible schooling experience.
This is why this year I have decided to pull together my experience and learning from the last 10 years, both professionally and as a parent, to make a series of E-Books to support you (all the things I wished I knew sooner!)
I wrote my first guide Happy Heart, Smooth Start is to help parents in developing their childrens emotional readiness for starting school in September, something that is not talked about enough.
I have poured so much into this and am so excited to share it with you!

What age is it for?
It’s written for parents and carers of children aged 3–5 who are starting school, but many of the tips can be helpful beyond that too.

Yes. The guide is especially supportive for children who are sensitive, anxious, neurodivergent, or need a little extra help adjusting to change.
