What you need to get started

  • Tape or strong glue
  • Ribbons- optional

You can print on white paper or card, we set our printer settings to "best" to get the highest quality print.

Step 1

Cut out the flag shape using your scissors

Step 2

Turn your flag over and fold the flap inwards

Step 3

Pop your stick in the fold and use tape or glue to secure the taper to itself tightly

That is your flag made!

If you would like to add a little more decoration you can find some colourful ribbons you may already have at home.

We have chosen one of the ribbons to match my little one's school uniform.

Step 4

Tie the ribbons to your stick one at a time just below the base of the flag.

Ta dah!
