HELLO! I am so sorry it has been a whole YEAR since I last posted a blog! A lot has happened in that year which includes me being on maternity leave after having my boy (who is now 1!) and launching my new brand Olive and Pip! So I thought I would do a little blog about what it is all about 🙌
At Olive & Pip we create gorgeous gifts made from your little one's artwork. We have been making beautiful products from your children's drawings for some time alongside our range of personalised gifts at Little Things By Lucy; they have always been always a huge hit! We love working with children's drawings; they are so full of personality I decided they needed their own bright and colourful brand. It had been in the making for months and I finally launched in February! You can see my new Etsy shop for children's drawing gifts here although for a short time I will still also be offering them on this website until I set up my new one!
Our aim is to make items that are full of joy, bags of fun and yet still stylish and useable. Celebrating those "look what I made" moments; our products spread happiness to both children and adults alike. Children love seeing how their drawing has been transformed and the grown ups enjoy their adorable artwork.
My latest designs include cushions, make up/wash bags, tote bags and aprons which make adorable unique gifts for Mother's Day, Father's Day, birthdays and Christmas... or fab "treat yourself" pressies!
I am a mum of two and Olive & Pip is inspired by my children Ella and Jake (or "Olive and Pip" when they were being baked in my tummy!). I made my first drawing gift from one of Ellas doodles. She is a creative soul who loves to draw! There is honestly nothing I love more than seeing all of her fabulous creations, especially now she has learnt to spell my name- my heart melts when she comes home from school with little love notes for me. Jake is too young to draw but I still cherish his finger-blob paintings he brings home from nursery 😆 These little "I love it" proud-mum moments prompted me to create Olive & Pip.
We still make all of our children's drawing gifts by hand at the Little Things studio in Newport Pagnell. Although this is a new brand you can rest assured that our gorgeous gifts are tried and tested and you are guaranteed to receive the same excellent service as you have been from Little Things By Lucy- you can read some of our 5* reviews on Etsy and feedback for Olive & Pip has been amazing already!
